Crosstown Parkway Extension Project Development and Environment (PD&E) Scoping Meeting
September 18, 2008

The City of Port St. Lucie hosted a daylong series of events as part of the Scoping Meeting for the Crosstown Parkway Extension, a proposed new River Crossing over the North Fork of the St. Lucie River. All agencies participating/cooperating with the City regarding the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) were invited, and at least one representative of most agencies attended. There were 44 participants. Most attendees came for the full day session.

What's New

Work on the PD&E Study is progressing at a steady pace. The technical reports which support the Draft and Final Environmental Impacts Statement (DEIS and FEIS) are currently under review by the Florida Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the involved resource and regulatory agencies. In addition, the DEIS is currently under development for submission to FHWA
